Heaven on Lundy
In this talk we look back through the years when Lundy Island was an outpost for Vikings, Pirates, Smugglers etc. We based it on the “Heaven family” who had the island in the 1880's and built a lot of the beautiful building now on Lundy. Lundy became our first Marine Nature Reserve in the 1970’s and been used as a template for the new Marine Protected Areas act just passed in law. There is a short film we show which the Heaven Family on Lundy in the 1880’s
