Cosmeston Lake Project

Marine Conservation work in the UK.

This talk looks at some of the work and problems that we have in the waters around the UK. We look into the way Beach Litter has it’s affect on marine life, the way that the Fish Farm industry is tackling  the fish food problem etc. More controls on the planning for big building projects on the coastline. And after twenty old we have finally something workable on the setting up of Marine Protected Areas. These are much better then the Marine Nature Reserves never really got off the ground. The  reserve on Lundy Island is a shining example to what a protected area can give to an area and proves the need for these Areas. Along with all this we will be showing you some of are amazing wildlife that live in our seas.

At the talks you have the option to purchase some of our merchandise DVD’s, Greetings Etc.
